carrdogs.jpgA La Cresta resident's granddaughter is looking for a home for her two dogs (photo attached).  She has been struggling with them since her boyfriend moved out – she’s not home a lot and doesn’t have the time or energy they need and deserve, and she’s feeling guilty about that and so would like to place them.  They are just over 3 years old.  Both are shepherd mixes – Nicole is about 80 pounds and Paris is about 45 pounds.  They need to stay together as they are best friends and she doesn’t want to separate them.  They have lots of energy and would love someplace where they can run and gets lots of exercise, love and attention.  I’m hoping you can forward this to all of your e-mail contacts.  Email April at HAIRDRESER420@aol.com.  July08.

Need Goats?  I have three darling full-sized oberhasli/alpine/sannen cross kids.  Two does and a buck.  They are from top milking lines, so anyone interested in goat milk wouldn't go wrong--the mother and grandmother (I have both) have fantastic udders. And they can be penned in spaces for weed control--but not now, they are too small. Coyotes and domestic dogs are the predators for these lil' guys.  I'd like to have $75 for all three, but only if they take all three.  They'll be weaned August 7th.  Elin P  elinart@mac.com.  July08.

GREAT NEWS!  ELSIE IS LIVING HAPPILY WITH A FAMILY NEAR BIG BEAR!  THANKS ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
This beautiful girl lived in La Cresta until her family moved down the hill.  She is a wonderful pet, but the new, smaller digs are creating tremendous friction between her and her sibbling dogs. Elsie.jpg

POPPY & SUNNY (SUNFLOWER) - beautiful little flowers

I am currently fostering these two beautiful lab mix sisters, approximately 10 months old.  Poppy and Sunny are sisters who were abandoned in Deluz at a young age. We have been working on their rehabilitation over the past 7 months and they are ready for a dog-loving home.  They have had their shots, snake vaccines, are spayed and are easy to have! They are happy to be outside doggies (would be great indoors as well), love other dogs & kids, are very smart, loving and non-aggressive.  They are also large enough (50+ lbs already) to protect smaller dogs and kids.  These precious baby girls need to be adopted together. Call me!  I’ll tell you more!  Kelly Smith 304-3695.  april08

LADY & TRAMP

Lisa Leonard also fosters dogs and has a set of brother/sister German Shepards.  They are former Police Dogs, 6 years old and also must be adopted together. Great Ranch Dogs & Protectors, they love being outside and have no demands to be inside.  They love other dogs & kids.  Lisa’s issue is that they don’t seem to be fond of her pet bunnies.  Call Lisa at 714-240-4063.  Dec07

Found dogs July 2007

DOG 1

I am DESPERATELY looking for someone to adopt this sweet tempered little girl! SHE HAS OBVIOUSLY COME FROM A FAMILY HOME. SHE IS GOOD WITH MY DOG DOESNT BOTHER OUR CATS.  She is also really sweet with our little brandbaby. I found her passed out lying on the side of Margarita and Pauba rd. on the hottest day of the year!! It took me ten minutes and a bottle of water being rubbed into her coat to, bring her back around enought so, that she could stand.  She needs to be in an enclosed yard I think tho, because when we first brought her home my husband opened the garage door and she took off.She has been fostered for the past three weeks at another womans home. She has given her a bath and she did very well with that. She has another dog and they have only argued once over a dog treat.  She is about three yrs old the vet thinks. She looks as tho, shes been fixed,{she has a little scar on her tummy}She is not  a big barker, she is quite mellow and just REALLY wants to, be WITH someone. She follows you wherever you go..... if you know ANYONE that would be kind to,her and spend time with her, PLEASE,PLEASE call me!!! My cell number is.....951-852-1511.She lives off of,La Serana right now with a woman named Barbara and she has given me till the end of the weekend ONLY until she takes her to, THE SHELTER. SHE CANNOT KEEP HER ANY LONGER.....Tahnk you so, much!
