Cowboy Jubilee, Art Show
and Trail Ride - July 25 & 26! Jubilee Flyer Trail Ride Flyer (deadline for entry July 21) Art Show Flyer This years Cowboy Jubilee event promises to be even better than last year. We will again feature music by the The Sons
of the San Joaquin and cowboy poet Waddie Mitchell . Both are nationally recognized Cowboy Hall of fame entertainers
and it will definitely be two nights to remember. Friday July 25 will be dinner and an impromptu open mike evening at
the Cottonwood Ranch where you can meet the group and participate with you own music or poetry readings if you like. On July
26 Saturdays dinner concert will again be under the stars at the Liberty Oaks Ranch. For more information and tickets contact
www.srpf.org This entire effort is to raise funds for the children's education program at the Santa Rosa ecological Center
where 7000 kids had a remarkable first hand nature experience last year. The Foundation generates the majority of funds used
to provide this and so this event is crucial to the ongoing success of the project.
HALLOWEEN
EVENT***Don't leave the Plateau this year for Halloween! Stay tuned
for details of a family event to include a Trick or Treat hayride caravan and before/after party.
WE NEED YOUR HELP On Saturday, June 21, 2008 beginning at 8:00 a.m., we will have a work day at "The Hump", the entrance
to the Santa Rosa Plateau Communities at Clinton Keith and Avenida La Cresta. The purpose for this work day is to ask all
our neighbors, friends and residents of the Santa Rosa Plateau to come and bring their gloves, shovels, hoes and rakes and
help us plant the front side of the center fence area. The fence will be reinstalled, we located the water, and will install
a drip system on a timer, some plants to enhance the fence, sod in front of the fence and a rock catch basin to help control
silt from entering the street during rainy weather. We are asking everyone to share an hour to help out the community out.
This is not an effort by any association. We need people who are willing to get down and dirty to make a presentable entrance
to our unique community.
WARNING: As a private roadway we will be controlling traffic
for the safety of the volunteers who will donate their time. During this day please be patient in your entrance and exit and
be aware there are pedestrians in close proximity to the roadway.
If you cannot volunteer to help work,
a donation will be gladly accepted at the work site on June 21. This effort is for all residents and we should pull together
as a community to show our spirit. Our goal is to try to make some of the entrance pleasant to look at by the 4th of July.

2, 2008 (timing details to come as we get closer)...This is a private inspection this year for residents of the Plateau, but as in

should coordinate with Bob DeGour with name of horse / age / lineage as soon as possible to insure a spot in the inspection.

SNAKE AVOIDANCE CLINIC
Email webmaster@lacrestapoa.org or Elin Motherhead for APPLICATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RATTLESNAKE AVOIDANCE TRAINING. PLEASE SHARE
WITH YOUR NEIGHBORS. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, PRINT AND FILL OUT AND MAIL OR DROP OFF TO ME.
WE ARE IN NEED OF MEN TO HANDLE THE BIG DOGS AND GALS OR
GUYS TO DO SIGN INS, OR BABYSIT A SNAKE OR DO DOG COLLARS?. IT IS FOR 1/2 DAY, FROM 730 TO 1230 OR 12NOON
TO 5PM ON EITHER FRIDAY JUNE 13 OR SATURDAY, JUNE 14. VACCINE INFO:
local La Cresta veterinarian, Dr Rob
Hildreth, (951-696-9501) has offered to give the rattlesnake venom vaccine to your dogs on Saturday ONLY, June 14, at the
Rattlesnake Avoidance Clinic, conducted by Patrick Callaghan, at Calle Centro & Ave de Arboles, From 8AM TO 5PM.
Dr
Rob tells me that the vaccine helps your dog to have a much lesser reaction if it is bitten by a rattlesnake. Dr Rob is donating
his time and $20 of the $26 fee goes to the Plateau Riding Club. He needs an estimate of how many vaccines, syringes, and
dog cookies to have on hand. IF YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR DOG TO HAVE THIS VACCINE, PLEASE EMAIL ME. So I can tell Dr Rob the number
of vaccines to order. Dogs who have had the shot before, only need the one shot
each year. For "first timers", a repeat booster($26) is needed two weeks after the first shot on June 28th. This will be a
drive thru clinic at Dr Rob's clinic at 38573 Calle de Lobo. You can come just for
the vaccine or do both the Avoidance training and the vaccine.

May 19 & 20 Horse Rescue Fund Raiser and Yard
Sale Friends of Susan Guillot,
we are in the process of organizing a Fund Raiser/Yard Sale in order to support 4 rescued mares in foal. These mares were
starving and due to foal soon. One has already foaled. These horses will need ongoing support and the proceeds from the Fund
Raiser and Yard Sales will support the mares and foals until they are placed. Any additional funds will help in replacing
the main arena for 2007 German Friesian Kuering that Susan will be hosting in September.
We are looking for donated items to sell at the Fund Raiser/Yard Sale. This will be
a great opportunity for you to clear out some useable tack that is collecting dust or clear out some space in your garage
of any miscellaneous items that you would like to contribute. You can choose to donate the full proceeds of your sales to
the Fund Raiser/Yard Sale or you can choose to allocate a percentage. Either way, whatever you can contribute to make this
a success will be appreciated. We plan to have hot dogs/hamburgers and sodas on hand and perhaps a show or clinic while you
shop.
We have scheduled this yard sale for May 19th and 20th starting at 8:00 A.M. , so if
you would like to deliver the items sooner, we do have a staging area available. Contributions can be delivered to Xenophan
